Starting a sportswear brand sounds big. In practice it is a short list of decisions, taken one at a time.
1. Pick one product
Do not start with ten products. Pick one that you can describe in a sentence, such as a heavy hoodie or a training top. A small, focused first order is easier to sell and easier to fix if something needs changing.
2. Decide how it should feel
Fabric is most of what a customer notices. Think about weight, softness and stretch. If you own a garment you love, send it to us or send a photo. We can match the feel and suggest fabrics.
3. Send what you have
You do not need a technical drawing. A sketch, a photo of a garment you like, or a few lines about what you want is enough. We turn it into a spec sheet and a pattern.
4. Check the sample
We make a sample, usually in about a week. Try it on, wash it, look at the print. Tell us what to change. This is the cheapest moment to make changes, so take your time.
5. Add your branding
Private label means your name is on the garment, not ours. That can include:
- Neck labels with your brand name
- Hang tags
- Printed or embroidered logos
- Your own packaging
6. Place a first order that is sensible
Our minimum is 25 pieces per style and colour. For a first order, many new brands choose a small number of sizes and one or two colours, then reorder what sells.
7. Plan the timing
After you approve the sample, a full order usually takes 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. If you are launching on a date, tell us early and we plan backwards from it.
If you are ready to start, send us your idea. A rough one is fine.
