A tech pack is a set of instructions that tells a factory exactly how to make a garment. The clearer it is, the fewer mistakes you get.
What goes in a tech pack
- A drawing of the garment from the front, back and side
- Measurements for each size
- The fabric, colours and trims
- Stitching and seam details
- Where logos, prints and labels go, and how big they are
- How the order should be packed
What if you only have a sketch?
That is fine. A sketch, a photo of a garment you like, or a few lines about what you want is enough to start. We write the spec sheet with you and make the pattern.
Tips for a better brief
- Show a reference photo of the look you want
- Give the measurements of a garment that fits well, if you have one
- Send logos as clear files, such as PDF, AI or PNG
- Say which colours matter most, and how the garment will be used
What happens next
We make a sample. You check the fit, fabric and print, and tell us what to change. When you approve it, we start the full order.
Send us whatever you have today. A rough idea is enough to get a quote.
